even if i was religious, this would be a very questionable thing to say in response to someone's death. like was it god's plan for the victims of Sandy Hook to be shot dead? calling it god's plan made it sound like they (god) directly caused the person's death

Hi everyone I'm currently living in the US and attending an OPC congregation. I may have an opportunity to move to New Zealand for work, and one of my biggest concerns is finding a church community where I can truly belong. I'm very confesionally Reformed, theologically conserva…

How is it possible that God existed before anything was created and always was, is and is to come. This astounds me when I think of it. He is incredibly holy and there is none like Him. His glory is so great that it’s larger than the universe. I cannot imagine. When Jesus return…

sup 48 /sup Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. This seems like an impossible and condemning thing, right? It's not when read in context. If you read from verse 43 you'll see Jesus is telling us to be perfect in regards to loving everyone…

My current favourite bands are Slipknot etc and yes lyrics can be very dark and rough but it doesn’t affect my view and sole love for Christ. I tend not to reflect on lyrics or agree with them. I’m a guitarist so enjoy the instrumental sides more. But also as I love God more tha…
