Retractions and Unpublishing Requests

Email retraction requests to retractions@infolitico.com. We respond within 24 hours and unpublish on request. A short email is enough; no formal process is required.

What to include

• Your name (or the public figure's name if you are reporting on their behalf).
• The story URL.
• A short reason for the request — for example: false-light concern, fake-but-plausible quote, brand-endorsement framing, or appearance of a blocked subject.

What we will do

• Acknowledge your email within 24 hours.
• Unpublish the story on request — no debate, no judgment call, no negotiation.
• If the request involves a person we should never write about again, add them to our subject block list.
• Where applicable, update our editorial guardrails so similar issues do not recur.
