Terms of Service

Welcome to Infolitico. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and related services. By accessing or using Infolitico, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

About Infolitico

Infolitico is a faith-framed news publication. Each story reports a real, current event and pairs it with a spiritual reflection and a short prayer. The news reporting is anchored to a verifiable source event; the spiritual reflection is editorial perspective, not a statement of fact. Automated systems help draft and check stories under editorial guardrails — see our AI Disclosure and Editorial Standards for how that works.

Not professional advice

Our content is provided for general informational and spiritual reflection purposes only. It is not legal, financial, medical, mental-health, or pastoral counseling advice, and it should not be relied on as such. Please consult a qualified professional for decisions in those areas, and verify matters that are important to you against the linked original sources.

Intellectual property

  • Infolitico’s original story text, reflections, prayers, and site design belong to Infolitico. You may share links to our stories and quote short excerpts with attribution and a link back to the original story.
  • Scripture quotations are used by permission of their respective publishers and remain the property of those publishers.
  • The underlying news events and the linked source articles belong to their original publishers. We link to sources rather than reproduce their content, and we do not claim ownership of third-party material.

Reader discussion

If you take part in our Reader Feed discussion, you are responsible for what you post. Comments are displayed under a database-derived pseudonym rather than your email address. You keep ownership of your words, and you grant us a license to display, moderate, and remove them. Do not post anything unlawful, abusive, harassing, or otherwise objectionable. We may moderate, edit, or remove discussion content at our discretion, as described in our Community Standards.

Morning newsletter

Our optional morning newsletter uses double opt-in: we send a confirmation email after you sign up, and we deliver only to addresses that confirm. Every message includes a one-click unsubscribe, and we honor it. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle newsletter data.

Third-party links

Stories link to original news sources and other third-party websites. Those sites are not controlled by Infolitico, and we are not responsible for their content, accuracy, availability, or practices.

Reader support and contributions

Infolitico offers optional reader support through Google’s Subscribe with Google prompt on eligible story pages. Reader support is entirely voluntary, is not required to access any content, and does not change what you can read or share. If you choose to contribute, the transaction is processed by Google under Google’s own terms and privacy policy, and Google may share with us only the information needed to fulfill it. Refunds, cancellations, and account questions for contributions made through the prompt are handled by Google. We do not sell or rent your contact information.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The site and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Infolitico does not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Infolitico and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site or its content.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision. Your continued use of Infolitico after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
