Editorial Standards

Last updated

Infolitico is a faith-framed news publication. Every story begins with a real, verified source event and is presented through a warm, spiritually grounded perspective. We believe accurate reporting and timeless scripture can work together to help readers make sense of the day's news.

These standards guide every piece we publish. They are not aspirational — they are the rules our editorial process enforces before a story reaches you.

Accuracy and source events

  • Every published story must be anchored to a real, verifiable source event. We link to the original reporting so readers can always check our work.
  • Factual claims and statistics are source-backed. We do not fabricate data, quotes, or scenarios.
  • When we get something wrong, we correct it promptly. See our Corrections page for the process.

Scriptural integrity

  • We never fabricate, alter, or misattribute Bible verse text. Every scripture reference uses accurate, established translation text.
  • We do not use prosperity-gospel framing — we never suggest that faith guarantees material wealth, political outcomes, or personal gain.
  • Scripture is offered as spiritual context, not as proof-text for any particular editorial conclusion.

Non-partisanship

  • We frame stories through faith and values, not through party affiliation or partisan allegiance.
  • We do not endorse candidates, parties, or political movements.
  • Stories about minors, named crime victims, and other sensitive subjects are rejected before publication.

Non-denominational voice

Our perspective is broadly Christian and conservative-cultural in sensibility, but we do not promote the theology of any single denomination. Readers from many traditions should feel welcome here.

Tone and dignity

Every story treats its subjects with dignity and grace. Our voice is warm, earnest, and constructive. We do not publish content that is mean-spirited, mocking, or designed to humiliate — regardless of the subject.

Corrections and removals

If a story falls short of these standards, email retractions@infolitico.com with the URL. We respond within 24 hours and unpublish on request. See Corrections for the full process.
